The Forum UK programme is our most important platform for promoting women’s leadership and for enriching each other’s lives by sharing knowledge, ideas and intellectual capital. Our programme is the hub of all our activity and the key to providing and maintaining our sense of community.
The programme incorporates the core categories: breakfasts; behind the scenes tours; briefings; dine-arounds; special interest groups and the annual events: AGM; Jean Denton lecture; Summer Cocktail party; Christmas breakfast. In addition we look to promote the international agenda and benefits of membership of IWF through participation in the IWF programme. We hope our Forum UK 2007/8 programme will encourage networking, growth and the development of Forum for the future.

RUINED
By Lynn Nottage
Directed Indhu Rubasingham (a 2009 Forum UK Emerging Leader)
A small mining town deep in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In Mama Nadi’s bar her rules apply. No arguments, no politics, no guns.
When two new girls tainted with the stigma of their recent past arrive, Mama is forced to reassess her business priorities and personal loyalties. As tales of local atrocities spread and tensions between rebels and government militia rise, the realities of life in civil war provide the ultimate test of the human spirit.

The latter was seen at the Tricycle Theatre in 2006 directed by Indhu Rubasingham whose other recent credits include Afghanistan: The Great Game, Detaining Justice (Tricycle), Free Outgoing (Royal Court) and Yellowman (Hampstead Theatre/Liverpool Everyman).
